November has been quite a month for superheroes, what with Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League hitting the screens.

While we may fawn over our favorite celebs donning capes, a lot of them are also superheroes in their downtime.

Here are a few celebrities who show us you don’t really have to fly to be a superhero:

1. Aamir Khan

Founded in the year 1998, the foundation has supported 132 organizations, funded more than 200 projects across 50 countries and 5 oceans. DiCaprio also acted in and produced the 2016 documentary film Before the Flood to put the spotlight on climate change and its impact on the planet.

3. Gul Panag

Gul Panag, former Miss India 1999 is as beautiful as she is smart. The actor has started two organizations that work towards different aspects of environmental preservation, ranging from proper waste disposal & employment of natural energy resources to proper sanitation. She owns an electric car, and has formulated the concept of a ‘green home’ that uses rainwater harvesting and solar power instead of exhaustive energy sources.

4. Daryl Hannah
