Sometimes even the most stylish celebrities get it all wrong. Talking of our favorite Hollywood celebs, the red and green carpets have been paraded by many stars who simply overdid it. While the award functions and fashion events are known for celebrities hogging the limelight in their glamorous outfits, sometimes their barely there gowns and bizarre get-ups go overboard. Here we check out some of the worst Holly wood fashion disasters of all times that shocked the paparazzi with a bomb. Go ahead!
Julianne Moore – Oscars 2015
Our very own Julianne Moore showed off her struts in metallic and cream Chanel gown. Studded with black stones, the best actress nominee’s gown was not only a wrong fit but looked more of a sack studded with stones. Hope you surprise us in a better way next time, Julianne!
Sandra Bullock – Golden Globe 2014
We were all shocked to see the Speed star in this black gown….err….blue gown…..err……..pink gown at the Golden Globe 2014. This color block number was a mess up of the color palette and came out to be a big bore for fashion critics.
Lady Gaga – Oscar 2015
The lady known for her over the top get-ups smashed it this time with this bizarre get-up where she must have thought to dress up like Cinderella in this white embellished gown red rubber gloves. No doubt, this look went viral with her look being compared to that of a maid and toilet cleaner!
Sophia Loren – Oscars 2009
Sophia Loren grabbed eyeballs in this ruffled explosion in organza by Giorgio Armani at the Oscars 2009. The color fight show of the creamy yellow gown against Sophia’s copper skin and hair was a complete fashion disaster and managed to put this look on the worst looks of all times. Pheww!!
Bjork – 2001
No list of “Hollywood’s Worst Fashion Disasters” is ever complete without Bjork’s bonkers dress by Marjan Pejoski. This 2001 look was a nightmare for fashion lovers across the world. There were numerous nil points of fashion in that white number with a dead swan hanging on the neck. It was Bizzzzzzarre!! The wrinkled nude sleeves with sheer tint, the tights and the ill-executed swan all went insanely wrong in this tried-too-hard outfit.
Lea Michelle – Golden Globe 2012
Looking more like a tin man avatar was Lea Michelle dressed in this terribly cutout shimmery silver dress. Neither skin show at the torso not the trail at the bottom worked for this fashion mistake. According to fashion critics, it was the color of this dress that drained the look.
Jennifer Lopez – Grammy Awards 2000
Leaving very little to the imagination was Jennifer Lopez’ was this striking green number by Versace that she wore to the Grammy Awards 2000. This shocker of an outfit is clear in our minds till date as it was badly labeled as an OTT attempt. Neither the horribly dipping cut that magnificently crossed her belly button as well stopped it from appearing as a fashion disaster in many a list.
